Libby Clegg - Paralympic Athlete Visit - November 2017

On Wednesday 1st November 2017, Paralympic sprinter, Libby Clegg, came to visit our school and talk with us about her career successes. Libby Clegg has represented both Scotland and Great Britain, winning a silver medal in 2008 in the 100m and a gold medal in 2016 in the 100m, beating the world record in the 200m, making her a double Paralympic champion.

Libby Clegg came to us after a member of our school community won a 'Muller' prize meaning that an athlete would visit our school, and that we would be presented with £2000 to purchase sporting equipment for our school.
