Afternoon Lesson
Today we are going to look at structures. You can pick to do one of the activities below or you can do both of them.
1. Use different materials in your home to create your own structure/building. You could use boxes, junk modelling, cellotape, newspaper, marshmallows, spaghetti etc...
How strong is your structure? How can you test its strength? How can you make it look attractive? Would people want to visit your structure?
Or
2. You can use the internet or books to research a famous structure e.g. Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Empire State Building, Burj Khalifa, Big Ben or the Pyramids of Giza.
After you have researched your famous structure you can create a poster or leaflet telling everybody about your structure. You can even record yourself on Seesaw talking about your structure.

Would you like to visit your structure?
