This is my Friday shout out to you to point out amazing work that has been carried out on the plans for our Stone Age adventure stories. It has been nice to still see positive work ethics and general positivity despite the poor weather. The plans have me excited to start our writing as so many children have some incredibly interesting story ideas for their work.
Also a thank you to everyone who helped Alligators put together some amazing class projects for our Stone Age topic. Pictures of these can be found below, they were all incredible.
Congratulations to our star of the week Mohammed for hard work in English and Maths, with your exceptional detail in your setting description and plan for your story.
Congratulations to our TT Rockstars:
Star of the Week: Talida
Fastest Rock Speed: Talida
Most Improved: Olivia
Highest Earner: Jenisha
Well done too you all, your hard work is clearly paying off in your maths work as well.
Homework has also been given out for both Maths and English stuck in homework books for everyone. We hope you are all continuing to work on spellings and reading at home when you can. Once again our big focus is on TT Rockstarts This has been set for everyone again as we still done have enough children using it consistently, everyone's log in is in their HWK books so I expect that everyone to have use it twice for 10 minutes this half term, make sure you follow the instructions that you were given. The English work is to read the African Fable 'The Jackal and the Lion' that they all have in their HWK books ad well as can be found in the HWK section of this page..
It continues to be an absolute pleasure to be teaching Alligator class.
Keep safe and happy,
Enjoy your half term all and I will see you when we are back,
