Year 3 Crocodiles

Welcome to Crocodile Class Mr Laws Class Teacher and Mrs Monk

A brilliant bask of Crocodiles

Dear Parents/Carers,

Star of the week this week is  Zuzanna K. for a really good write up of a setting description, using the correct punctuation. Well done

A big shout out to the rest of Crocodile Class for another hard working week for all children in Crocodile Class.  They work together as an amazing team and have such strong friendships with each other.

As the work level increases and changes from Year 2 we understand the frustration from some children saying they are finding it ‘harder’, but as they become more fluent readers, writers and expert at understanding maths concepts year 2 will seem a distant memory.

Library is open every Tuesday afternoon for children to change their books. Make sure their books are in school on Tuesdays.

P.E. continues to be on Tuesday, please help your child to remember it is full P.E. kit, tracksuit bottoms  and school tops, but importantly trainers. Make sure it is weather appropriate.

Many thanks for your ongoing support.

Have a good weekend

Best wishes

Adam Laws

TTRS  is an important part of your child's learning  and it is especially part of their homework.

All children can go into Garage as many times as they like.

To get their weekly mark  they must attempt Studio and Soundcheck at least once.

Studio can be quite daunting until the memory takes over and the answers become automatic.

Please encourage your child to be quick at the answers they know.

All year 3 children should be attempting to know their   2x 3x 4x 5x 8x and 10 times tables at this point of the year.
