Home Learning
Dear Giraffe Class,
Have a look at the daily tasks we will be setting, complete as much as you can. You don't have to print off the sheet, as you can complete it in your homework book or on any spare paper you have, just write the date for each task. You do not need to email us the tasks you have completed. Please don't worry if you can't complete the daily tasks or are struggling with them, you can continue to play TTRS and read on Oxford Reading Buddy in the meantime. If you have forgotten your login details for TTRS or Reading Buddy, just contact the school office and we will pass them on to you.
Best wishes and stay safe
Mrs Begum
Hello Giraffe class!
So as you have realised, the school will be closed for this half term. I know that you all enjoy coming to school, but never fear!
Starting on Monday I will be hosting the whole of Year 4 on a Zoom call and explaining what we will be doing.
1. We will have 2 lessons a day (LIVE!) with your host, me!
2. I will be putting worksheets up on the class page that will go with the video lesson.
I also expect everyone to be doing both TTRS and Oxford Reading Buddy 3 times a week.
If you you still have a thirst for learning, there are lots of websites with plenty of additional activities including
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/this-terms-topics and
https://classroom.thenational.academy/subjects-by-key-stage/key-stage-2
I will post more here soon,
Mr Maslin
If your parents have any questions my work email is m.maslin@wellington.hants.sch.uk
Message from Mrs Carter (Who was in our zoom group for maths this morning)
I had a great time this morning joining in with your Maths session. I watched you explain how to solve column subtraction problems.
I was particularly impressed with how you are checking to make sure your work is accurate and politely asking if you needed more help - well done.
I hope to come back and see you all soon.
From
Mrs Carter
