Welcome to Wellington Community Primary School
Welcome to our website and our school. We are a two-form-entry primary school with over 400 pupils on roll, aged 4 to 11 years. We are a popular school with an excellent reputation in the local and wider community.
As you navigate through our website, you will see that we offer a rich educational experience with a wide range of opportunities for all of our children. We pride ourselves on being a multicultural, inclusive school where everyone thrives.
We are a very open school with a community feel, valuing the ways in which we communicate with our parents and families, not only about what is going on at school but also our strengths and areas of development. This allows us to work together to give our children and community the best opportunities possible. We are so proud of our offering: the school is welcoming and diverse; the staff are dedicated; the parents, families and community are supportive; and the children, the heart of our school, are fantastic, demonstrating excellent attitudes and behaviour for their learning. Every child has pride in their many opportunities and achievements.
At the heart of our school and provision lies an exemplary curriculum which meets the needs of our children. It ensures every minute is meaningful, building skills and knowledge across the breath of subjects whilst making life-long learners.
We work closely with the other schools in Aldershot and are federated with Marlborough Infant School and Talavera Junior School; we share the same leadership team and governing body. This allows us to share best practice and drive high standards.
