Welcome

Welcome to Wellington Community Primary School

We trust that you find your visit to our school website informative and fun, giving an insight into what we are all about! We are a two-form-entry primary school with over 400 pupils on roll, aged 4 to 11 years of age. We are a popular school with an excellent reputation in the local and wider community.

As you navigate through our website, you will see that we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities and after school clubs, catering for a range of ages and interests across the school including a range of sports, dance and music. Children have plentiful opportunities to participate in sporting fixtures and musical provision. Regular visits and visitors provide many embellishments to teaching and learning, and the curriculum.

We are a very open school with a community feel, valuing the ways in which we communicate with our parents and families; not only about what is going on at school, but also our strengths and areas of development, so that we can all work together to give our children and community the best opportunities possible. The school is very welcoming and diverse, the staff are very dedicated, the parents, families and community are supportive, and the children, the heart of our school, are fantastic, demonstrating excellent attitudes and behaviours to their learning, and a pride in their many opportunities and achievements.

We work closely with the other schools in Aldershot and are federated with Marlborough Infant School; we share the same Leadership team and governing body. Both schools follow the same curriculum and staff work closely together to give children consistently high quality learning and extra-curricular embellishments, including children across the schools going on school visits together and staff leading subjects for both schools.

Whether you are an existing parent, or prospective parent looking to enrol your child in our school, please organise a time to come and have a look at our learning in action. We are always happy to show people first hand why we are so proud of our school.
